MOSAIC EXPLORATIONS Parent / Child Class – instructor Crista Olson

This introductory workshop offers a look into the exhilarating world of Mosaics! This workshop will    cover the history of mosaic art, various cutting techniques, adhesives, materials, substrates and laying styles. You will create your own mosaic masterpiece: a 10×10 mirror or 12×12 mosaic using a variety of tesserae: smalti, gems, marble, stone and ceramic.

Come and explore the World of Mosaic Art while the children create their very own charm bracelets with polymer clay or just come to the Mosaic Exploration class only. (See below) FEB 16^th 1:00-4:00 – $ 45.00

Charms with Polymer Clay Grades 6-8 (Age exceptions made) – instructor Angelika Huskamp

Do you love making little mini charms? Then this class is just for you! Learn polymer clay basics to mold, sculpt, and form your very own polymer clay charms. In this class you will make anything and everything from mini pepperoni pizza charms to your favorite animal.

Stained Glass Mosaic – Adult – instructor Kathy Rickermann

Imagine a sheet of glass cut into any shape you like. Then imagine assembling all your colored pieces into a beautiful picture of your very own design. Come and learn to cut glass, learn spacing and layout, and finish with a grouted mosaic to take home.

Bring a drawing, an idea, or a thumbnail sketch to begin. Available also from instructor.

Two Classes offered in February on Wednesdays 12^th,19^nd, and 26^th (Three Week Class)

Choice of two times to meet: Class A  / 1:00-3:30 PM or   Class B  / 6:00- 8:30 PM   $ 75.00

Mosaic Jewelry Workshop – Adult – instructor Crista Olson

In this workshop you will create a unique piece of jewelry that will express your personal style. Students will make two mosaic pendants using a variety of materials such as glass, stone and millifiore. Basic mosaic techniques will be covered.  Materials and tools are provided. No prior mosaic experience is necessary. Part of Loving Yourself Art series Workshops and classes. Bring a Favorite beverage of your choice.

Recycled Jewelry Making – Adult – instructor Angelica Huskamp

Our jewelry-recycling course will offer instruction on how you can use your old or broken jewelry in new ways. Create new pieces by repurposing old ones and adding fun things to change it up like keys and buttons. Bring your old or broken jewelry, and found treasures and take home a new piece. Instructor will have some supplies for purchase for students.
