38 Mosaics were made for nine exploration stations that were placed as part of Columbia Bottom conservation area outdoor Park. Each Icon was designed to represent a habitat of Missouri. Visitors can get a booklet at the Center and when visiting each station, can learn about the natural Environment, its habitats, and the species that live there and even what they eat for survival. Each design has a sculptural piece added to the mosaic. This was a collaboration with Missouri Department of Conservation and Lead Artist Catharine Magel and Mort Hill.
